Soprano
Amanda Kohl holds a Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma from the Hartt School of Music and a Master’s of Music from Indiana University.
Her professional Opera credits include; Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte with Connecticut Lyric Opera and she has performed with regional orchestras and ensembles including; Iliana Choral Society, Distant Worlds Chorus and Orchestra, Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Broadway in Chicago, Wellesley Masterworks Orchestra, Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra and Elmhurst Choral Union. She is currently on the rosters of St. Charles Singers, Chicago Choral Artists, Camerata Chicago and Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago.
Amanda is featured on three albums with new music label PARMA and was a recent 1st place winner of the Chicago SongSLAM 2024. She is a dedicated educator and clinician and was recognized by NATS (2016) for her work in the field. She works with students at her home studio in Oak Park, as well as at the Merit School of Music and Lyriq School of Music in Chicago.
