Bass
Adam Kosberg is a vocalist, instrumentalist, conductor, and music educator originally from Collinsville, IL.
He earned a doctorate in bass trombone performance and literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017 which included a cognate in choral conducting and further interests in arranging, brass chamber music, and historical performance practice. Adam has toured nationally and internationally as a choral vocalist and performed for several years as a section leader and soloist in various professional choirs in St. Louis, built a successful studio of private low brass students, maintained an active performance schedule with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Southern and Central Illinois, and was the music director at Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood, MO, for two years. Adam relocated to Chicago in October 2023 to pursue work as a freelance performer and music teacher.
