Soprano
Praised for her lithe and elegant soprano, Carolyne DalMonte is a
versatile singer of opera, oratorio, and choral repertoire.
As a soughtafter oratorio soloist, she has performed with ensembles across the U.S.
Her performed opera roles include Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Dorinda in
Orlando, Mimi in La Bohème, Manon in Manon, and Despina in Così
fan tutte. In addition to her solo repertoire, choral music holds a special
place in Miss DalMonte’s heart. She has performed with many excellent
ensembles in her career, such as the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Choir,
Brevitas, The Thirteen, the Grant Park Festival Chorus, Bach Collegium
San Diego, Bella Voce, Music of the Baroque and the Church of the
Ascension Choir. She is thrilled to be making her Chicago a cappella
debut this season. Most recently, Miss DalMonte was honored to sing as
a semi-finalist in the 2024 (and 2023) Lyndon Woodside Oratorio Solo
competition.
