Greg Vinkler is delighted to perform with Chicago a cappella again.
Greg is the former long-time Artistic Director of Peninsula Players Theatre in Door County, WI. He has performed extensively in Chicago, most notably with Chicago Shakespeare Theater (40 productions – playing King Lear, Malvolio, Falstaff and King John, among many others), as well as the Goodman, Steppenwolf, Court, Writers, Northlight, Marriott Lincolnshire and Victory Gardens theaters. He has been honored with three Joseph Jefferson Awards (and 12 nominations), two Artisan Awards and an After Dark Award. Regionally he has worked at Milwaukee Rep, Paper Mill (NJ), Fulton (PA), Pittsburgh Public and BoarsHead (MI) theaters. Greg appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning ’09 revival of West Side Story, and internationally at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon (as Falstaff in Henry IV, Pts. 1 & 2), the Barbican Theatre in London (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with Gary Sinise), Vienna’s English Theatre and Singapore Repertory Theatre.
