Guest host Emily Price welcomes Christopher Bell, Chorus Director of the Grant Park Music Festival, for a conversation about leading great choirs in Chicago and Scotland, his associations with acclaimed composers, and his unique singing voice. Performances are by Chicago a cappella (three movements of Paul Crabtree’s Five Romantic Miniatures from The Simpsons), National Youth Choir of Scotland (a movement from James MacMillan’s Cantos Sagrados), and the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus (the final movement of William Schuman’s A Free Song).
